CLIMBING WALL AWARD (CWA) ASSESSMENT
SATURDAY 22ND APRIL, 10AM TO 5PM
THIS ASSESSMEMT IS PROVIDED BY MOUNTAIN TRAINING
To book onto this assessment you must be at least 18 years of age and attended a Climbing Wall Award training course (or have been granted exemption). You must also have logged a minimum of 30 visits to at least three different climbing walls and have led a minimum of 40 climbs at F4 grade or above plus have assisted in at least 15 instructed sessions. You must further hold a current first aid certificate, minimum 8 hours and relevant to your work as a Climbing Wall Award holder.

FOUNDATION COACH AWARD TRAINING
SUNDAY 23RD APRIL, 10AM TO 5PM
THIS TRAINING IS PROVIDED BY MOUNTAIN TRAINING
This award is designed to enable coaches to be more effective in coaching the fundamental movement skills of climbing. Foundation Coaches will usually be concerned with the stimulating delivery of a single session to a group of individuals.
To book onto the Foundation Coach Award Training you must have a genuine interest in climbing and the coaching of groups on climbing walls. You must also have at least six month experience of climbing and be over sixteen years of age.
