SYBC 2026
We're happy to announce that this years Southern Youth Bouldering Championships will be taking place on the 12th & 13th Decemeber.
We are inviting all young climbers across the country to come and join us for this incredible event. It is a real chance for youth climbers to showcase their talent in a fun and supportive environment.
The SYBC is a bouldering event dedicated to all young climbers. It is an open event meaning any young climber with a passion for competition can come and take part.

To take part in the Southern Youth Bouldering Championships (SYBC) climbers must register online below in advance of the event.
Due to the nature of the event we cannot accept walk-ins on the day.
Registration is super-easy and takes less than 5 minutes. An entry fee of £40 applies at the time of registration. This includes a FREE participant tee if booked before the 20th November.

Each day is structured as follows:
QUALIFICATIONS
20 blocs redpoint format, with a 2.5 hour timeframe for all Categories
SEMI-FINALS
8 blocs per Category with up to 5 attempts per bloc within a 2 hour window.
FINALS
3-bloc showcase finals, 4 minute timeframe per bloc

Each year we have a limited edition SYBC t-shirt on offer for all participants.
If you book before the 20th November, the entrance fee includes a free tee. All bookings after this date will be able to purchase one on the day for an additional fee.

Our fantastic Crux Cafe will be making hot food all day including our fantastic freshly baked pizzas.
As well as our freshly ground coffee and speciality teas from Extract Coffee will also be available until after the finals.
